Proofreading Feedback

I proofread regularly for a small publishing house but I also take on work for businesses, foreign students and self-publishing authors. Here is some feedback from a handful of clients:

“Katharine Smith has been working with us since July 2008 and has been a huge help. Her attention to detail is impeccable, she is always vigilant with agreed deadlines and works extremely efficiently.”

“Katharine Smith has given me a very professional and exemplary proofreading service throughout.
Her prowess as a proof reader is commensurate to her communication skills. I would highly recommend Katharine Smith as a professional proofreader to any writer, no matter the genre.”

“I asked Katharine to proofread my dissertation for my MSc in History of International Relations in London School of Economics. I knew about her just a couple of days before my deadline. However, I contacted her and she committed to a date and time and delivered the corrections for me even earlier!! Her corrections were accurate and impeccable! I have recommended her name to some friends of mine and I will certainly spread the word!”

I asked Katharine Smith to proof read the manuscript of a book I have written.   The book is entitled, “Teaching Adults – a beginner’s guide for Christian leaders” and is written for readers in developing countries.  Her proof reading was meticulous and easy to follow and I am very grateful for her excellent work. She also took on board the needs of the target readership and the semi-technical nature of some of the writing. I was so impressed by her care and enthusiasm that I have decided to ask her to arrange for the book to be published.”
